my motor, it was pre-buil by a shop. i didn't get full specs right away cuase he said he would get them to me later , of course i got the run around and never did get the full specs even after phoneing AND going down to the shop 10+ times. i only found out yesturday what pistons i have and thats becuase i pulled the heads. thank god they are forged like i was told

ok so i got some good responses. now heres a more specific addition to your worst parts. Do you guys find BBK to be ****? what about upr? mac? etc. thanks for all the responses so far. also has anyone had bad experiences with the bbk catted hpipe? i have it and it fits pretty good for the most part, granted the tails could prolly be lined up better but has anyone had problems with fitment or the quality of the actual cats?

i ran bbk chrome shorty's for awhile and they did the trick for me, the discoulored but i didn't really are cause i kinda like how it looks.

i love my BBK shorties and my BBK x-pipe. they seal and fit perfectly and sound great.

i had mac shorties with the individual flanges and they SUCKED!! warped like crazy and would never seal, huge PITA to put on and take off.

just a thought for you if you keep blowing gaskets (if thats what you mean)

when i put my turbo on i was blowing out gaskets after everytime i drove the car, i ended up just using that copper rtv stuff you can buy at parts stores and used that instead of a gasket, never had a problem after that (well till i blew a head gasket lol). the guy who made my turbo kit actually was the one who told me to do it.

The part I most regret buying was the Eibach Pro Kit.

Nothing wrong with the kit but I realized how I hated the ride,the look (looked like a lowrider to me,no offense to anyone,just wasn't a look I was going for.) and the lack of ground clearance...

Only thing I liked was the better handling.Handling was the reason I bought the kit in the 1st place.So in that aspect and that only...it was OK.

That's easy; I bought the Cervini's Stalker Bumper cover (Direct from Cervini) because of everything I read before buying it. It was suppose to be the best on the market and for $650 including shipping you would have though it should be the best on the market for that price…. But it wasn’t.
Six months after it was painted and installed it started pulling inward toward the hood and the only thing that has stopped it from pulling any more is the hood (which now is starting to lift because of the pressure from the Cervini Stalker pulling inward!

Would you pay $650 plus prep and painting (probably $900+) for this and say it's the best on the market, I sure hope not?

I’ve found over the yrs that probably 50% of most people who tell you how great Cervini’s is have no actual experience with a Cervini’s product, they’re just telling you what they’ve read!

I think that happens a lot on the internet, i know of a few products i have bought that everyone says is junk and i have had great luck with them, and others people on the forums said are great and i have problems with them. So now i try to go by what my friends have on their cars, or stuff i have personal experience with.

ive always had a feeling that cervinis is just a name. This name has gotten a lot of respect primarily because they have been around so long. Their prices are high so as long as they are always making sales they will be prospering. Personally with the exception of their cowl hoods and maybe that kit they make for the 05 stang I think their stuff is pretty ugly. They make a killing over jus cheap fiberglass.

My worst...MSD Pro Billet Distributor, because it was a complete piece of junk out of the box. Left me on the side of the road in the rain, made me miss a dyno appointment, and so on. I'm sure all parts here and there have duds, but dammit...

Other than that, the 73mm Fox brake upgrade because I noticed no difference and ended up replacing it all anyway with some real brakes. I at least was able to sell them for what I paid, though.

I think that's it. Everything else was bought with knowledge from either other people's mistakes or just knowing what would be best

i'm sure tons do. all i'm saying is i wish *I* never bought it. Would've saved a few huge headaches It did scare me away from MSD stuff though. Just one of those things!

This is another prime example of Cervini's arrogance in my opinion and why I’d never deal with Cervini again!
