Parts Interchangeability Between 68 & 69 Mustang

I have a 68 coupe project in another thread here. I have a chance to buy a 69 coupe from a friend of mine for a parts car. Will the front suspension, rear axle, driveshaft or tilt steering column from the 69 work in the 68? Thanks in advance.

Every thing from the suspension will work ,it is the same .I used the tilt from a 68 in a 69 so it should be the same also .The 69 tilt is worth some $$$ .The wiring for the 68 will be different though ,the column will manually tilt but not break away on its own.

Just how much $$$ is a 69 Tilt worth ? The car is a Grande. My friend has already snagged the rim blow wheel and the console out of it. I forget what other options it way have.

The last one i saw for sale was $250 and that was without the steering wheel ,but it depends on what condition it is in .If you can pull all the wiring and the actuators it would go for quite a bit more than that if it all works.Is it high back seats or head rest seats ?Check to see if it has the automatic seat release ,there will be wires under the front seats .Check to see if it has the AM FM factory radio or the AM 8 track radio .
