I'm putting on a Cobra intake on my 95 GT this weekend and started making a checklist of the misc parts I'll need. See if I'm missing anything. Any hints or gotchas?

Thermostat Gasket
180 degree Thermostat (should I go 160? JUST KIDDING - don't want a war :D )
Cobra Lower to Head Intake Gaskets
Cobra Upper to Lower Intake Gaskets
Antifreeze
5qt Oil
Cobra upper Intake Gaskets
Radiator Hoses if current hoses don't look good
New stainless bolts

Couple things...misc dub stuff...

Got anti-seize??? I do up all the bolts...always comes apart easy...

Thread sealer..for the water sensor's.

single edge razors...

Acetone or the like for cleaning the gasket surfaces....

4- 1/4x20x2.5" studs for alignment of the intake corners when setting it down..

RTV...around the front water to head ports...light coat..

Vaseline for the injector o-rings at assy time...Do you have the fuel line tools to disconnect them??? you can throw the whole injector/rail assy to the passenger side....I dropped an injector doing that...set me back 3 days to find one... :bang:

Awesome suggestions - thanks!

I do have fuel line disconnects - I was hoping not to have to unhook the buggers though.

I'm also going to go ahead and get a new temperature sending unit and ECT sensor since I'm going to be RTV'ing anyway.

Last time I did an intake install on my 72 Mach1, I put a thich bead of RTV on the front and back of the block and a tad bit more at the four corners. Is that still a good idea on this iteration of the 302?

Myself I always whip the lines off...Do you have the Yellow/Green ones...work the balls...

RTV just like you say...I happen to use the rubber ends seals and RTV the 4 corners only...Alot of guys just run a bead like you do...
