Passenger Rear brake problem with new powerslot rotors

I have a '98 cobra which i let the rear brakes go way too long before servicing. I ignored the squeaking on the right rear until it turned into a grinding of the outer part of the rotor. I finally ordered a pair of powerslot rotors with hawke pads and proceeded to install. When I took it out for the recommended break-in and burnishing, it drove fine with no squeaking. The problem is that when i parked it to check them out, the right rear pad is only touching the rotor at the outer most edge. This looks like the same wear pattern that my worn out pads had, but with new rotors, it's easy to see since half of the pad hasn't even touched the rotor (driver's side is fine).





Does this mean it has to do with the caliper? and if so, could it be the caliper pins are bad? Thanks for any suggestions or advice.

yeah, i think you're probably right. I bought new caliper pins and installed them with new lube today, because the originals were bone dry and rusty on the pass. side. After I tried some more break-in stops, the rotor looks a little better, but still not full pad coverage. Maybe it's time to get that baer kit I've always wanted
