Hi
I lost a good friend this week and a great Mustang guy. Vinny Changet who ran our local board (Stangbangerz.com) in Cincinnati passed away Wed. He died of a heart attack at 37 years old. Anyway I am in mourning and wanted to let my other Mustang friends know about this. Vinny was a special person always ready to help anyone work on there car. He was almost done with his twin turbo coupe, had it tuned and was working a couple problems. I realized this week that forums are more than I thought, not just a place to get info, but an extended family.

I saw this on hardcore, and I'm sorry to hear he's gone.

IMO you are absolutely right. Some of the best friends I have are ones that I met on these forums!

Sorry to hear this. OUCH 37!!! May I ask if there were any signs that he was in ill health or was this sudden and out of nowhere?

I'm sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to my sister's best friend's husband. She came home and found he had died from a heart attack on the couch, with no history of any health issues. I think he was 32. Makes you really look at life differently and appreciate how quickly it can come to an end.

No signs of ill health, but heart problems did run in the family. Short version he shoveled snow felt bad rested, went to work, felt bad called wife to get him, when she arrived he was gone. He leaves a wife and daughter..

My condolenses, very sad especially being so young, we often ask why things like this happen, and sometimes we also need to ask for the strength to accept it. May his family as well as you find it now.

Really sorry to hear about the loss, it's sad at any time, but moreso when unexpected....my condolences go out to yourself, and his family

I definitely agree on the comment about the boards being more than just internet friends, and I would offer you a no questions asked place to stay if you were to find yourselves stranded around my area....that says alot considering I've only met one person from this board..

The only exception is Guero. Just because of that picture.

On a more serious note, because of my job and the possibility of me getting injured or worse when I'm overseas, I've asked my girlfriend to pass on any information to you guys if anything were to happen to me. She doesn't like the idea of it ever happening, but I'd rather you guys know from the source, than to read about it the newspaper and not be certain of the whole situation...

does that make me crazy?

Well, you ARE crazy... but that's not what makes you crazy. So far this is the only website I still frequent over the years, that is as wide spread as it is. I've yet to meet anyone on here. But I keep coming back. :SNSign:

Very sorry to hear the news. May he rest in peace. I bet he's up there right now ripping up those heavenly roads in his stang. My condolances to his family.
