hey guys, i just bought a paxton fuel reg off e-bay. it's in great con'd but no instructions or fttings. I'm not sure what hole on the side is the vacume etc. i know the 2 on the bottom fit into the fuel rail. but what about the other 2 on the side?? and were they should connect. thx

Hey, yeah theres just 3 blots that fasten it to the fuel rail, you set it by turning the bolt and locknut. Thier is also going to be a vaccum port on the side somewhere, when you set the fuel pressure take the vaccum line off and pulg the end, set fuel presure and reconnect. My aeromotive also has npt threads to use a fuel pressure gauge in the side. Havent seen a Paxton in a while but it should be the same, hope that helps.

setting the FPR

ok, i'm getting all of the fittings shortly. but how do you knwo where to set the initial fuel press? do you turn the screw all the way down or out? or a few turns out etc... or dosn't it really matter at 1500 rpm or lower for a few seconds??? I don't want to blow anything up....

you need a fuel guage installed in the shrader valve on the fuel lines. then with the vacumn line off set the fp to 39 psi (factory) and start there. keep it between 38-44 psi with vacumn off is what I have always been told..kinda find the sweet spot when you go to the track or dyno. just put the adjustment in the middle and fire it up and adjust it.. at idle there is pretty much nothing you can do to hurt it.
