For those of you who remember this AMG from the April 17'th meet. Dad wasn't too happy..

Lets take a poll on the estimate? I'd say $5000 for a 5mph bump.

Ah, well no big story to go along with it. I just took her out for a cruise in Portland last night. Came up to 2nd Ave and Burnside intersection (going north, making a left turn), when the car ahead of me was rightfully waiting on pedestrians to cross (god knows where my mind was), I got distracted looking East on Burnside. When I looked back ahead I was about 10ft from the stopped car in front of me, rolling at about 20mph. Activated the ABS, and ALMOST stopped!! AHH *flash-backs*.. Yeah that's the story.

Not everyday do you wreck someone else's $120,000 vehicle

As for my Dad, he is taking it quite well, we'll see how things pan out..

Unfortunately, it was a riced Civic that drew my attention. He and his crew inside came flying past me honking and yelling, then turned right on Burnside.

Why would anyone want to own a $120,000 vehicle?

Cause they can. I mean sure that's a lot of money. But if you can afford that kind of car. Your not worried about money.

If you only knew how many different things this car can do... There is nothing manual in this car, everything electronically controlled, yes everything. From vibrating seats to sensors to stop the front seat from coming back too far on the person sitting behind you to navigation (common now) to heated/cooled seats, the list goes on. And it hauls ass and is as extremely smooth and quiet. Oh yeah, and it's one sharp looker.

It's a perfect mix between a sports car and a luxery sedan. I'd drive it for my dailey driver

Nice! But expect more than that! Replacing a side mirror on my parents' CL600 would've been $1200 if not for warranty. What a load of crap, huh?
