PCV Valve question?(2002 GT)

No it doesn't, at least it did not on my 02'. I had to pull the cam cover off to take it out. It had a metal clip that holds it to the cover from the inside. I put a plastic plug in it's place, a breather filter on the fill cap and another filter on the driver side cam cover. ...
I don't have the oil fill cap breather in place in the photo but I have the one on the drivers side cam cover installed (next to the clutch cable and brake reservoir).Attachments

Do NOT install breathersor modify the PCV system airflow in any way.. It is ok to filter it but do not block it or modify the flow.
Why? I don't understand what you mean, you said do not install breathers but it's ok to filter it? Please set me straight... As for EPA standards.... I don't care

There is nothing wrong with using breathers, but you have to do it correctly. You have to use them on both sides, not just one, or it will allow unmetered air into the system.
That is indeed one of the many schools of thought on the issue... I do not agree however.

I went to the Zone the other day looking for a new PCV just to change them out. the idles been a wandering a little. I cant find what PCV valve fits my car?
if the car has funky idle, it MAY be the PCV, but have you replaced the IAC yet? If not, try cleaning the IAC and see if the problem goes away. If it does, you know it's the problem, and you can buy a new one (because cleaning it is only a temporary fix).

I got mine from Advance... it was a Purolator though, ive been told Purolator and Motorcraft are rougly the same.

I doubt his idle has anything to do with the PCV other than it may have gummed up the IAC.
Things to check first for wandering idle:
IAC, TPS voltage, vacuum leaks.

this is the only one I have. It if for a 98, so I haven't found it very useful. They are pretty easy to find to the old. 5.0's
