I put a set on when I did my
351. I wrote up some instructions right out of the Ford manual. Also, as mentioned bove, both the Crane and Comp websites have good instructions and tech info.

Look in the Tech section under engine at the www.lincolnsonline.com site

buy a pack of shims unless your using new stock pushrods and new FRPP lifters and those first set of instructions should be good to work from. Can't remeber off the top of my head but if i remeber right you bring the engine around so the set of lifters your working on is all the way down (valve closed) than you should only have to turn the nut about 1 1/2 times and be at a preload of about 0.045 inch +/- .015 inch, if preload isn't right you can add the shimms under the base of the pedestals. finally torque to 18ftlbs
