People with HID's!

I have had my 8000k's for a while with single beam headlights and foglights, but my fogs are tending to burn out because of the location of the ballasts. So where did y'all mount them?

I have my headlights mounted just next to the airbox and the battery...where'd you mount them????

I put my headlight ballasts on the core support under the upper radiator cover/shroud.

i went through a set of ballasts for the fogs because of where i had them mounted. they looked like they had been there the cars whole life, after just half a winter. so i put (both new)one fog ballast in front of the battery, and the other in front of the airbox (where the air-silencer would be.)

then i bought two harness's off ebay and im good to go now.
i also have my headlight ballasts on the inside of the coresupport in front of the condensor like benny. works out great

so youre saying you need an extension (in addition to what they give you) to mount your ballasts so that you dont damage them prematurely?
-I just searched fr HID harness on ebay and nothing came up

have mine mounted near the air silencer hole, and underneath my battery tray, no problems so far, had them in since October
