I can set off car alarms a lot easier now with my axleback compared to stock. When you put a mid pipe on, that's when it truly gets loud.

There is also a huge difference in sound when the car is in neutral and under a load, be it cruising at a steady speed or acceleration. I have the violators on my 07 GT and think they sound pretty good. I wasn't too impressed with them at first, but they've grown on me a bit. They don't drone too bad, they sound very good under accelaration (very good). At idle and while manuvering in the driveway they don't have much deffinition to the tone. Another thing to consider is the price. They are probably the least expensive axle backs out there and i think they are a good value FOR THE PRICE. Mine needed some modification to fit properly without leaking at the clamps. The tips do not have drain holes and my driver side rear hanger needed to be trimmed. When I took the muffler off to trim the hanger (after it had been on the car for a while) i noticed that it had a lot of water in it. No wonder i have so much condensation steaming out of my exhaust all the time.

Sorry for the very long post, but I just wanted to let you know what you might expect from this axle back option. Long story short: violators are a very good all around choice for under $200, but cannot compare to the quality of a more expensive system. Hope this helps!!
