hey guys ive been looking into new header gaskets i have a header leak i have to fix. i was looking on summit at the percy gaskets the aluminum one for 40 bucks, and i was also looking at the ford redacing ones witch are kevlar i belive. for 20 bucks. have you guys had any luck with either of them? i know percy ones are pretty popular but i would the for one would be just and good quality concidering there just about oem.

I'm running the percy's and they are a good gasket, however they are NOT blow proof like they say. I lost my passenger side gasket less than a month after putting headers on my car. I bought another set and replaced the burnt gasket and they have been fine since.
BTW when they start to go they make a funny whistle/whining sound real similair to a loose belt, idler pulley going out.

We have had great luck with Percy's new pure carbon gaskets. We use them on our turbo vehicles which are really hard on exhaust gaskets.

yea i know. has anyone checked out www.remflex.com they have carbon exhaust gaskets taht look nice. im just not sure what size the ports are. thats what i was plaining on buying but im couldnt find out what size to use i belive it was 1 9/16 and 1 1/2 port size
