Performance Chip...Looking for a good one

First off I know nothing about performance chips, I have always stuck with h/c/i or superchargers. I have a 94 gt auto vert, and am looking to do minor mods without hurting the value of the car. What is a good chip? and how difficult are they to install. Any info would be great, especially from somone that has/had one installed. Thank you

I have seen great results from SCT chips.

Minor mods as in bolt ons will not require a chip. Spend your $$ else were.

agreed....spend the 500 bucks or so on full exhaust, or gears, or pullies, or a shifter, or subframes, or a billion other things.....

Just did the full exhaust. I want to do gears, but It's not something that can just easily swap on and back off. A shifter is out of the question since its an auto, and a shift kit is again out of the question. Subframes seem pointless as of right now. Ive had bad experiences with pullies as far as overheating and I've never really noticed a difference from them at all. Im not saying your ideas arent good, but I have been running most of those through my mind already.

Subframes are a great mod they stiffen the chassis up. I just had this done and they are very well worth it imo. As far as pulleys don't base your opinion on them if you haven't tried them on the sn95 cars. We don't get the overheating/charging problems most foxes get. They are also a great bang for the buck on our cars.

Yeah, full length subframes are the ones to get (if you do). The two point short subframes ARE a waste of money IMHO.

100% brand new 100% stock mustangs can benefit from subframe connectors regardless. Our cars are starting to age, and we may start seeing doors not line up as the years go by like the old foxbodies and fbodies are experiencing. Subframes will significantly fight this problem.
