Hello im new to the V6 forum, I was wandering where i could get a performance cam for a 94-98 Mustang 3.8. I havn't been able to fine one, and what kind of horsepower can u exspect for a performance cam? Any helf would be handy!
They all have cams and can help you choose the specs for the cam to match your goals and plans for the car. Just the cam alone can usually get a good 10-15hp, possibly 20 if you do new springs and lifters, even more if you get ported heads and intake manifolds. If you don't want to change the springs or lifters, all 3 of those can make a cam so you don't have to, but the bigger, more wild cams require that you do.
