Guy wants to trade my performer for his ported e7's (complete) and cobra intake.. What do you guys think? How much of a power difference are we talking? I have a stock short block and heads right now. Don't know if I should jump on this deal.

Might be if the heads are recently well done and don't need to be freshened up. Those two intakes sell for close to the same price used.

I'd make sure the heads aren't some poorly home ported pieces before making any trade. Why would the guy trade you a nearly equal intake plus those heads for the performer? Be careful.

Well the story is he's building a 331 w/ afr heads so he's parting out his old motor, and he wants a performer intake. I'm not sure if it's worth it, what will I see with ported e7's, 15-20hp?

The guys story doesn't make too much sense; flow is pretty close between the performer and cobra intakes, unless you're talking about the performer rpm.
Who ported the heads? What exactly is done to them? Like I said before, I'd be pretty worried about bolting on some heads with a poor amateur port job and having problems.
