Performer RPM II & Hood issues

Does the RPM II intake fit under our stock hoods without any issues? Hoping to go with AFR 185s and that intake but if there is an issue with hood clearance it might negate my choice a bit...

yes it will fit but the hood will rub on it and mess up the finish.

I took out the liner and did a little trimming and now it fits perfectly fine
here is some pics showing the rub marks(kind of crappy but its all i have)

and here is the mod i made and now no problems.
