Will,... all you need is that button for the 2 step!! LMAO here we go!! I even think Eric is bringing it with him..... :D :D :D

YUP! :D Just got off the phone with him, we are gonna hook the button up and make some Boost at the line  We will difinitly see what my axles are made of then :D But I must admit they have about 30 runs on slicks with no sign of give, so hopefully we will have a great nite. Just won't create too much boost at the line....maybe 3-5 PSI.

Slicks and launching on boost should get me nicely in the 10's

Hey Phil you might want to bring the 300 shot just in case :p

LMAO

Now why would I need the 300 shot? I was thinking more along the lines that it would be a good idea for you to have that 75 shot hooked up. :p

Seriously though, the race for the 10's is on and I think that one or both of us will be there tomorrow night.

How do you know its not hooked up  heh heh heh.

It will be awesome if we both get in the 10's without breaking anything :nice:

Is friday night at PIR ,open racing or is it the heads up series

Nate pointed this post out to me, and I figured we should clarify something just to be sure.

On the Heads-Up nights there is still the standard friday night grudge racing, the Heads-Up Northwest program is an addition, not a replacement. Also on the Heads-Up nights the track opens at 5:00 instead of the usual 7:00.

Hope to see you all out there tonight...and on the 30th for the next heads up race. ;)

What a fun night!! No 10's to report,... but Will has a storie to tell!! :D Kinda crazy night,.. but fun!!

Nate

p.s. Thanks for the ride Phil!! Greengo is the ****zzz!! :D :D

You know Will, its ironic that your car was down for the same reason last year when I was coming back from the Mustang roundup. Unfortunately, I was too sick to help you work on the car. Maybe next year...

That's OK, the car is done, its just that my laptop died and it took the tuning programs with it :( My car is still at Phils shop in Battleground. Phil is trying to save the info off of my hard drive so we can set the timing then set the tune back in and Off I go. :spot:

But after the nightmare we had last night, I will be taking a break from the hobby for awhile. Not really motivated about getting 11.00 on the drag radials anymore.

Plus when I got teched on Friday night my car can only go 11 flat due to I don't have an SFI approved balancer.....so I ened up not running the slicks to get my 10 second pass. :nonono:

So Will, what have you done to your car since the 11.67 pass? (excuse me if I should know this -- I hardly ever surf the NW forum anymore). .67 seconds seems like a lot of ground to cover, will slicks be enough? That'll require what, a 1.5 or 1.6 60' time? Or do you have some new toys ... :hail2: :D

Dave

1. his tire was to short,.. hitting rev limit just past 1000-1100 foot.
2. taller tires/slicks = better launch 1.9 vs. 1.6 last year, and allow it not to hit the rev limit.
3. leave the line on boost to see what happens to the stock axle's!! :);0

Will,.. you need a rull book so we can crush some cars next year,... when Hanky is back in action, Eric's car will be top notch, Phils will be signing full song!!! Just baby steps for right now...

First I need Terry to tune the richness I have down low in my RPM's to get better power down there.

Next - Last year the slicks took .8 tenths off of my time, I was running consistant 1.60 foots. But if that don't work I have:

1. MSD 2step - will create about 5-9 PSI of boost at the line for launching :D
2. NX Wet Kit - can spray between 35-150 shot of N2O :D

So I have a few goodies that I still have not used but are on the car, just taking small steps.

Plus I will be installing a bigger downpipe sometime which will free up some more HP/TQ, and also will be going with 3.55 gears so I won't be bouncing the rev limiter at the 1000 foot mark :(

The car diffenitly has 10's in it, just taking my time getting there.
