ya think so ttony? i dont know what color to paint it

i gotta tell ya that picking a color is the hardest project i'm facing with 5 years invested in my car...........i've been through about every color option and everyone's opinion, stripes, decals, etc.............and still don't know what i'm gonna do........the options are unlimited

it is so easy when you buy a done car, it is the color that it is....

fact that i don't have the $$$$$ to get it painted, just makes for another year of thinking and talking it over..............

that said, i've rarely seen a nicely painted classic vehicle, regardless of the color, that i didn't like

I tell ya' one thing about paint color. IMHO, lighter colors show off body lines, shape etc. Darker colors hide things. Ask a woman, they use black or other darks to hide areas they aren't happy with.

Also, lighter colors are way easier to keep clean, or at least looking clean.

I bet it would look great in a light Silver.

Would someone please do this. I posted it in the virtual body shop and no one did it. i am wanting to get away from the norm with just a plain color and stripes. i want a two tone that either follows the body line, or is split just in front of the rear tire with a tear/rip whatever you can come up with. it would cover the rear of the car and half of the rear pillar. possibly blue into black, red to blue, red to black, red to a deep purple, just throw some colors out there if you want.

maybe lower the front only 1 or 2" leave the rear.

hope you have fun.

funny you should mention that.....lately i,ve been leaning toward silver or grey......i sort of wanted an ice blue, but my wife thinks that it is too feminine:rolleyes:

for one thing i don't like the way that the chrome door pulls will stick out visually in the middle of the car painted dark......if i do go dark, i'll probably have the pulls painted also....

plus i live on a dusty dirt road.................AND have minerals in the tap water that leave nasty spots.............

the color of the week is from a 03 vette called spiral grey metallic...........

superimpose 73 stang here...................don't want anyone to hurt their eyeballs:D
