well from what im reading on what ive found so far is that i will gain 35-40hp rwhp? all from swapping my npi cams and intake to pi cams and intake?thats amazing especially when ive got the parts chillin in the garage. now what im cofused with is the intake gaskets, which one to use and where to put the silicone? a link to a complete write up would be nice, but i gues hints and tips will work to. thanks to all.

THIS IS THE BEST SITE EVER.:nice::nice::nice::rolleyes::rolleyes::D:D:D

i made 225rwhp, and 270rwtq with pi intake/cams running realy rich, i could om made 235-240rwhp if we leaned it up,

heres a pic, it needs to be RTV'ed on the driver side rear, and passenger side front

when you get this swap done you might want to consider getting a good tune........ instead of swapping the cams w/ pi cams i would go ahead and get some comp 262 and put in there....... Don't go anything w/ a higher duration than that b/c you'll have ptv contact........ Unless you flycut the pistons........ I also don't think it's a good idea to run f/i w/ that compresion jump..... U'll need better pistons....... But thats if you swap to pi heads.

ya i dont plan to run FI until i build another engine, but as for the cams; im gonna use the pi's for one its not worth what little hp gain over the pi cams especially for that kind of money to buy after market cams. i already have the intake heads and cams laying here. now that i mentioned the heads everyone is saying why not the heads too, well because im saving them for the motor im building. plan on getting them c-c p/p better springs etc., so i cant do that with them on the car, also with 2 young rugrats kickin round here, moola is kinda scarce right know.

For me the PI cams and PI intake were worth between 20-25rwhp. I used NPI gaskets, which seal better for the coolant, but not well for the air intakes. I see most people use the PI gaskets.
What I've read people were seein 30-40hp at the wheels, with the parts being free, I don't have any problems slapping 30-40hp on my stock except bolt on npi 4.6. Would you?

there is a full writeup--actually probably more than one--plus an excellent article on cam timing over modulardepot. this is a good project and not too difficult if you research, plan ahead, and make sure have the necessary tools
