Okay guys I plan to make some money this summer so i can buy some PI Heads for my 96 GT, My question is powerheads.com sells PI Head swap kit for $1300 and claims a gain of 65 rwhp. They also offer another kit with port and polished PI Heads for $2200 that should give me and additional 110rwhp. Should I spend the extra $1000 and get the port and polishing or should I juss stick with the base kit that adds 65rwhp?

Why wouldn't you get the ported heads if you have the money? No reason not to. Just be careful not to get caught up in manufacturers claims of horsepower numbers.

Sorry 'bout that. I just hate these ads with these claims of all the extra ponies. If any of them where even close to being true, we'd all have 800 rwhp stangs.

I'm goin with Comp 268's. They're moderately aggressive. Sounds like maybe you want something more aggressive. Real coffee spillers. Both VT and Comp have them.
