I was wondering if there would be any power to gain with using a Bullitt intake over a PI intake when I swap my heads. I know for a stock N/A car there isn't much power to be gained, however, I'll be putting on a set of stage 2 heads from Steen and a pair of stage 2 cams from VT. Since I'll have it apart I was wondering if the Bullitt would be a worthwhile upgrade.

from all gathered info the bullet only makes a big difference when ported. it does raise the temperature of the air charge which lowers performance but there are many who have made some nice numbers with a ported bullet. the P.I composite intake dissapates heat quicker than the aluminum bullet(stock)however the ported bullet out flows the p.i. by about 40% or so. If you can get a bullet and all the necessary hardware for a good price and have it ported it would be a nice gain over the P.I. I think for the money you'd be better of going with the fox lake P-51, better #'s than the bullet on a N/A motor and at a lesser cost with less installation time
The bullet conversion is very, very expensive. People have had good success with them though. A ported one can give a 10rwhp gain over the whole rpm range. PM Mustang92 who has had good success with this intake.
the bullitt is a nice piece but like 1600 dollars after you buy everthing needed. Check out the Fox Lake P-51 intake I think it runs @1299 complete and out performs the bullitt.
A guy I work with did the Bullitt intake swap with a PI head swap just like you wanted. He didnt think it would be too difficult, but he said it was just a PITA and he would never do it again...not to mention the cost. He said it required a new alternator and bracket, among other things. You are better off buying the P-51 intake. It will save you time, money, and it will perform better.
