just curious but why dont you have the water temp under the dash guage and oil press. under the oil press.
in other words why didnt you switch them.

there is also a way to make oil pressure guages to work so you dont have a dead one someone did it for like 12 bucks.

But ive got to say they look bad a??!

sweet I like that, I almost want that now! I keep chaning my mind I had the A-Pillar but felt like a ricer in a space ship so I got the clock pod, I also have 2 lunar gauges. Whered you get that pod, link? how much?

when your driving, how hard is it to see them? seems to me the steering wheel is in the way.... looks awesome

I have the same gauge cluster and the gauges are not hard to see at all.

Whitedevil- who makes the 2-1/16 gauges you have there? It looks good, but can it be dimmed at night? It seems like it might be blinding if you couldn't.

Yeah you can see the gauges perfectly. The Gauges are Autometer Lunar series. I have them wired to the power of my stock cluster so they can be dimmed with my stock dimmer switch, works like a charm. I like them at full bright so far, although this was my first time driving at night with them so that may change.

As for the dead gauges i saw how to T off the and keep the stock gauge but i wasnt to worried about it. I just saw that as another possible leak. Some day i might do it but as of now having them dead does not bother me at all.

Looks nice (and familiar). . . Except I put my oil and water temp on the same side as the ones in the factory cluster. And I went with the mechanical gauges.

how involved is it to hook up oil and water temp guages? I've got both in an A-pillar pod but unfortunately theyre just for show at the time being. I wanna get them working tho or at least have them light up when i turn my lights on. Any suggestions? They are both auto meter guages.
Thanks.

depends on if it is mechanical or electrical. either way, they arent hard.read the instructions that came with them.

Theyre electrical i believe. My dad put them in years ago back when the car belonged to him, and i cant find the box or the instructions anywhere. i called the local speed shop here but those thieves wanted $300 to hook them up, which seems crazy for 2 guages. anyhoo me and a buddy are gonna try and get them working tomorow, might be back on here with a question or two.
Thanks again

I just ordered that same bezel. I went with two of the phantoms to match the cobra faceplate...and I have 2 autometer cobalts on the a-pillar.

mixed and matched a bit...but I think it'll come out good. Plus, I already had the 2 cobalts..and someone gave me a phantom FP gauge....so it's a lot cheaper

looks good
