Curious to see pics of these front bumper covers installed on cars not originally equipped with them. I've seen the Coupri, but who else here has done the swap? Post up pics if you have any, Thanks
so you'd be looking for notchbacks or convertibles mostly, right? any hatchback would look just like a 79 Pace car or 82 GT. I'll see what I have on my desktop PC.
Yeah they're the same...i just think the '79-82 bumper support underneath are different from '85+...i just remember HAVING to change my bumper, but i don't recall exactly why. I know i was happy with it because it was aluminum anyways.
I just got the front end parts for my brother's 81 notch. The only thing I didn't get was the metal bumper behind the facia. From what I gather the 79-82 inner bumper, and head light panels are interchangeable. The yards that I go to have a lot of early four eye parts, so I can always get that inner bumper in the next few weeks. His car was converted with 1990 LX front end parts by the PO, so at least it will go back to being a four eye.
