Fox Picked Up A 1 Owner 1993 Gt Automatic

As the title says, I picked this up off a guy that purchased it new in May of 1993. Car has 118k miles now. Guy had repair receipts on hand along with the original paper work. Not that crazy about it being an auto but I'm kind of enjoying driving it. Car has black interior, power windows and door locks. only mod done was about to set of flow masters and 2nd set of cats removed.

I've since installed new waterpump, t stat, fuel pump and filter, new shcoks/struts, and lowered it using stock springs. My plans are to fix the broken door lock actuaters, paint the pony wheels, paint the ground effects, and a new set of tires.

Stuck with door lock actuators that don't work and don't want to pay the $50+ for a new one? Tried the junkyard ones and found that they last six months and freeze up?

A new actuator for less than $7. Fix one side for $20, do both sides for only $28. I don't sell parts, I don’t make any money off of the upgrade, I just tell you how to do it cheaply and easily.

By the way, i am still using the same $4 actuators I bought in 2002 and this is the second Mustang I have installed them in! Beat that with your fancy replacements!

Nice clean car. Hope you used antisieze on those water pump bolts.

Very nice , t5 swap is relatively easy if you have some
mechanical skill !

The grass is always greener my friend. Maybe put a little money into the tranny and torque converter before raising a bunch of dust about a 5-speed.

Of course I say that because I've always had a manual and often wonder what it would be like to have a VERY healthy automatic.

Yes, I've done several swaps. The automatic in this car was replaced 7 years ago. I admit I do kind of like driving it. I also have a Supercharged 2003 Marauder that I haven't driven since I got this car. The 5 speed is going to be when and if this tranny goes out.

Put a Silverfox valve body or shift kit, a trans cooler, and a 2500 stall Edge torque converter in it and that AOD will be night and day. Oh ... and 3.73's out back

At the time I'm going to keep it stock. Love the gas mileage. I have some 3.55's out my Marauder I can install as well.
