Any install tips? Is that just antiseize on the gasket? Thanks...

I pulled it once before and I know it is easy but it is always good to ask for tips on installs...

I am talking about the substance smeared all over the thin gasket that goes between the IAC and the TB.

No restrictor plate for me, I have an auto and have not had any idle drop issues.

I am not saying the antiseize is there for anti seize purposes. It seems to be smeared all over the gasket to assist with sealing. Not sure if it is even anitseize... I guess I will just leave it like it is and reuse the thin metal gasket.

I installed the IAC and also SeaFoamed through the intake. I produced The Mother of All Smoke Clouds in my subdivision :hail2:

Now the car idles and accelerates MUCH more smoothly. Especially the idle, it used to be very rough and now it is perfectly smooth! :flag:

My car has 60k and it was definitely time to replace the stock IAC.

My car has been having idling issues lately.. wanting to drop and raise for no appearant reason. When I start it up, it sits at about 1000rpm for a while, then drops to 800.. then to 600 :(.. never did this before!.. it's about to hit 60k miles tho..
