Well, I decided to sell the 4cyl fox coupe DD, man up and buy another 5.0
Anyways, here is it, I picked it up for a steal! And buy a steal, a quarter of what the guy was asking!
It came with a fat stack of receipts, (including a couple of
Impoud receipts), ugly pony wheels with bald tires, and a broken windshield(which has all been fixed).
It came with the following stuff.
Hurst short throw.
clutch quadrant kit
fiveology racing MAF conversion kit
BBK shorty headers
BBK X pipe
Flowmaster 40's w/ Dumps
all new shocks
all new wheel bearings
Energy Suspension, full poly master kit
poly trans and motor mounts
aluminum radiator
new power steering pump with new lines
new wires
That is all i can think of for now, if i think of anything else, i will update.
The only thing I am curious about is the motor, I think it has been rebuilt, the odometer (which doesn't work) reads 52k, which leads me to believe that it went out at 152k. It runs good and pulls hard, it does have a bad valve seal (which I convinced him I had to pull the head to fix it), which it smokes above 4k when hammered down, so that's what made me get such a deal!
It also sounds like it has a decent mild cam. Which sounds like it has a pretty loap, but I am not sure.
The only problems that I am having, is my damn fuel gauge is not working correctly, when it is in between half tank, and quarter tank, it will shoot straight up. I have believe that it is the slosh module.
Well here is a picture of it, it has some pretty rough paint, but it's pretty straight!
Interior is in decent condition
I just got a new job that pays well, so I am going to hold off on fixing the valve seal/head swap, until I have money for some decent aluminum heads.
What do ya think for $900?
