If your problem is actually a leak, it has to be the gaskets. Sometimes the rear gasket for the lower intake leaks if you dont get some RTV in the corners. When I had to replace my intake gaskets about a year ago, we used a Fel-Pro gasket kit from Pepboys, it came with these blue rubber seals to use where the lower intake meets the block. I used a little RTV on the block, set the seal on top of it, put a decent amount in the corners, put a little on top of the seal, and put the lower intake on. I havent had a problem with a coolant or oil leak since then

Rog, I think this is pretty much what we did!

Anyway, just got off the phone with Bling...He said that it DEFINITELY IS possible to have had enough oil pooling around the engine from previous leaking that it may still be dripping for a few days after the gasket was replaced. He has had a lot of experience with this problem and even developed a systme to help eliminate pressure by creating 2 different one-way check valve lines. He said to spray down really well with some brake cleaner to rinse it all out and continue to check on it for a week or so...THEN Ill decide what we should do.

Rob- That car sounds good and drives good. Check your valve covers for a small leak. I saw a small leak from mine today, and it drips right on top of the headers so I get smoke. I have to tighten it down with the air wrench.

that sounds familiar.....i just started pulling mine apart today for that reason.
