I only linked them so we didn't have a picture posting war and kill all the dial-up people. That way John can still have his glory with the beautiful pics he posted of his car and not have a huge mass of 70 convertible pics.

The first four is of a deluxe 70 vert that i had a loan taken out and trailer ready to go until the guy called the day i was leaving and said someone stopped by and offered him more than we agreed upon at $8k. Before i took out the loan I asked him where i needed to send a deposit to and he said that a deposit wasn't needed and it was a done deal, that was until someone drove by and offered him more. Pretty pissed about that still but i found my 70 mach with fresh paint and all for $5k (over double the NADA book value of the vert) The last pic is just a random pic i found on my computer. Not too wild about the rear stance of the car though. These pics won't be hosted very long so save them if you want.

Here I is!!!!!!! Nice car, clean and straight forward.

Yeah I have to give a big disagree on the parts availability as well, even many of the common parts between all 69' models just are not available to date much less the convertible specific parts and I should know because my car was totalled requiring more parts than I ever figured on having to replace. I have a mustang graveyard about 100 miles south of me that had three 69' verts and 1 70' but being bare naked in New England for lord knows how many years made just about every used part I hunted for unusable.

I would be more than happy to be proven wrong here, so if you have a lead on a rear passenger quarter, passenger rocker panel and all the brackets to the passenger side convertible framework by all means please don't hold out and share your source because these are a few of the items that are holding me back still from finally getting my car back on the road. I won't even go down the road of all the exisitng trim parts that I know will not look acceptable anymore once the rest of the car is like new that simply can not be replaced to the best of my knowledge.

My account has been shut down as it is over capacity, haven't been to it in at least a month, sorry. I've just been in limbo lately with no forseeable "me time" until at least March, it's been killing me being out of touch believe me. It's like my whole world has been crumbling lately in every aspect. I can't wait for things to return to normal.
