Nah, leave 'em on. You won't get zip for traction with those skinny lil' tires, but it'd be funny to have a 351 under the hood with dumps (or maybe a single tailpipe, heh) and roll around lookin' like you've got a humdrum grannymobile.

Did you repaint it already? I spy yellow bumper plastic and a white rooftop in the burnout pic...

hehe, yea looks like a great project car. Post up some pics of the panels when you get them back in. I am interested in doing an all black convo myself. I just got my carpet, but may just leave the int. black and grey.

nah i covered up the yellow on the bumper with bumper paint (just happens to perfectly match the faded black paint on the car lol) and there was treesap on the roof that started to rust so i sanded it off asap and primed it.

i plan on painting it soon. thinking about flat black

...and its not my fault i have a gravel driveway lol

wow, I looked at that picture, and I said to myself "that looks like jeols notch in the background, and then it clicked thats schooleys mountain road!!!! I know those cars!!!! Whats up man? It's Jesse (the multi colored car in town) Progress is lookin good man, not bad work for your first project! Hopefully mine will be in primer in the next couple of weeks. Oh yea, if you have any questions at all about how to do all the body work, Thats my "specialty" So ask away man.
