Look what your car would look like with the new Shelby CS70 wheels.

Pic doesn't work but I looked them up....Not a fan.

I really like these, but not for $600+ each.

I was set on the AMR's, but I would really like something with a lip. I like the Steeda Spyder's, but I don't want 20's and that's all they're available in. I also kinda like Vorshlag's D-spec wheels, http://www.vorshlag.com/product_info.php?cPath=141_142_268&products_id=505
And these Rota's are growing on me for some reason, http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/reader-rides/4687/

Thanks everyone!
I figured up between my trade in and my old parts that I sold, I got $12k out of my old car. That makes for a nice down payment. If you want a laugh, check out the ad for my old car on the dealers website, http://myfamilyford.com/preowned-inventory/1995_Ford_Mustang_Marietta_1FALP42T6SF156654.aspx .

Is this really what our cars are going for? I bought my 95 back in 2003 for $7200 from a dealer.

Btw, love the new car.

Haha, they finally lowered the price. They had it listed as $9980 when I posted that link, down to $6980 now. Still a bit high, but not too bad. I had it listed at $6500 and didn't get anybody interested at that price.

Yea...only mustang that is as old as our cars that deserve that much are low mileage cobras. Maybe clean GTs.

Looks great and the color is awesome! The black amr wheels would look pretty sweet on there too

Ok so I've been going crazy looking at rims the last couple weeks. I want 18x9/9.5", no 19's or 20's. They have to clear Brembos because I plan to upgrade the brakes after I do the wheels. I've changed my mind on the black wheels, I think brighter colors go much better with this color. While I like the AMR wheels, everybody has them now and I'd like something different, plus they're fairly heavy in chrome. Right now I'm looking at 3 different choices...

Rota Grid 18x9.5 et38 in hyper black http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5742

Not hyper black, but they're on a mustang

Rota Boost 2 18x9.5 et35 in hyper black http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=6647

Enkei PF01 18x9.5 et35 silver http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetails.php?PartID=829&CategoryID=222&ModelID=35

The Enkei's are the lightest at 20#, and the Rota's should both be around 22#-23# but I haven't found solid numbers on them. My only problem with the Enkei's is that I want something with a bit of a dish to it, which both Rota wheels have. I've looked at just about everything already, but I'm open to suggestions.

I love the look of this car, but it's too impractical for me. These are VarrStoen wheels 18x10.5 all around.

out of those 3, i think the Enkei are the best.

personally if it was me, i'd go with these:

Forgestar F14 in charcoal. 18x9 & 18x10s. i haven't checked the actual weight but i heard they were pretty light.

The Forgestars are around 20-21#, but I don't like them. They're too flat. If they were more rounded like the RTR and AMR wheels I would be all over them.

Both those spoilers are really nice. Need to tint the windows.

The Steeda Cold Air Kit and Tuner adds a bunch HP to the new 5.0's. 94GTLaser, got his tuned at Steeda and it made 386HP at the wheels with an Automatic and Steeda axle back mufflers.

This guy got into 11's with 3.31 gears.

Well the more I look at the Forgestars, the more I'm starting to like them. I would have to go with the titanium finish though.

I don't think I like the Kona/Black combo...

I also like their CF5 wheel. Reminds me of the new Roush wheels.

Ordered my first mods yesterday! Boss front fascia w/foglights and splitter. Probably go with a rear spoiler and tint next then call it done for the year. Wheels/tires will have to wait til next spring.

Also going to the drag strip next friday (4/20). With stock all season tires my goal is a 12.99 or better.

Keep us posted on your times! Its funny, a month ago I was talking about why I wasnt ready to buy a new 5.0 yet, and then I went ahead and pulled the trigger myself. Glad to see you still hanging around here. I havent even posted on the S-197 forum yet myself. I have a thread over in 5.0Talk when I was debating selling my fox.

Got the Boss bumper and splitter installed today. It wasn't that hard to do, but I'm glad I decided to do the splitter at the same time. There's 26 holes that need drilled and most of them can be drilled with the fascia off the car.

I also found a tip on svtperformance for the stock foglight openings. I made these screens for under $20.

I'll get some better pics the next nice day we have.
