Heres what I did today, took forever to measure everything but everything checked out ok. I still want to put hte oil pump, shaft, pickup tube, and front and rear seals and oil pan on tonight. Its finally coming back together!!

Brought it to a machine shop, cost $120 for peace of mind.

Did you use that ring compressor with the hose clamp for adjusting? If so, did it work okay? Just wondering, because I used one that was "one specific size" that I borrowed. Next time I get in there, I might buy one of these adjustable ones......

Yeah I borrowed that from a freind and it worked pretty good if you ask me. It was my first time so I cant compare it to any of the other one but it seemed good.

Looks like you're making progress! I wish I was buliding mine right now. What heads are those? And what balancer are you running?

Those heads are ported Twisted Wedge heads I picked up from VibrantRedGT and the balancer is a SFI Pioneer that Grady recomended to me. The block is from a 87 with 75~k miles on it(forged pistons) and was honed, new rings/oil pump/cam bearings/main bearings/ARP bolts.
