How do you know this is a Saleen? And why the HELL would he ruin a Saleen (if it is one) like that????

He bought it like that. I'm pretty sure it's a Saleen. How did he ruin it

Ummmmmm, because if it is a Saleen.... it's worthless now as a Saleen. A Fox Saleen is something you don't mess with like that. It has nothing Saleen LEFT on it. Wheels, side skirts, Rear bumper... WHEELS, the Decals! There is seriously no way that's a Saleen... No one in their right mind would do that to a Saleen.

Also, just because it says Saleen on the trunk lid does not make it one... I have an old school "Racecraft Suspension" sticker on the trunk of my car (Saleen suspension), but it doesn't make it a Saleen.

Ok maby he just found a complete saleen interior and skirt package and even a saleen leather knob. I'm almost positive when he opened the door earlier today there was a white badge that said something like " modified by SALEEN" the gauges were 200 MPH saleen gauges.

k... You can buy a Saleen intake (although expensive)... I just can't believe someone would do that to a real Saleen.

probly done before they knew what kind of car it actually was. Like I said this guy didn't really know (he did but didn't) what he owns here. He told us he just wanted a sports car and really liked the black vert mustangs so he bought it from a friend.

You know... I think you are right JStang... I do think it is a Saleen body kit... It was just misleading because of the color..... I dunno... I guess it wouldn't be too bad with the decals....? I dunno... Look for a plaque under the hood and in the car.

If it turns out that the thing is a bonafide Saleen, I'd be putting money into it to turn back into a Saleen, at least externally.

Who cares? People that love Fox Body Saleens. I just can't see why someone would undo almost everything Saleen on the car... I think it would look much better with the Saleen wheels, and the correct color and decals. They could have done that to a regular 5.0 and left the damn Saleen alone...

And when the sun doesn't shine there, it's usually because the dog is pooping
