i have a 93 lx 5.0 and i want to use a safc fuel controller and i was just wondering what effects do piggy back fuel controllers that manipulate the mass signal have on timing advance !

I have the Tweecer R/t and you control each signal indiviually, if I just want to change the timing I can, or richen it up with the mass signal I can, although that calculates the air/fuel through the load from it so the timing table somewhat runs off that from what I know. But yeah you can control pretty much Anything with the Tweecer, if you want it to run for 20 seconds for 1200 rpm at every start up it will do it, half the things I don't even know what they mean. My friend has a SAFC on his civic where his head unit and you just add or subtract fuel at different rpm intervals, that's very limited but I guess it works good for their little 4 bangers. Not sure if that helped tho.

I was wondering the same thing, Mainly because the SAFCII is cheap as hell.

Safc does work on mustangs !

Well i have the safc installed and its working i just have to play with it. it helped my idle miss when i went up 10 % i think i have a injector problem but the new 255 pump 30lbs and 90mm mas will fix that, it displays the correction that you set and the throttle % and rpm, you have high and low throttle % that you can adjust + or - 50% at 10 pre determined rpm points. i don't know how it effects the timming yet. as long as the percentage is to great it shouldent matter. i'm very happy with it !
