Pilot bearings

My old clutch went out and i am buying a new King Cobra setup. The instructions say to only use a ford racing roller pilot bearing. Would I be fine with
a plain old one from autozone? I want to do the job this weekend, and I don't want to have to wait for a pilot bearing in the mail.

As long as it is a roller bearing model it will be fine....

I used the one from AutoZone with no problems. I think it was around $16.99

yes you can use any brand it just has to have needle bearings (roller) and it can't be a pilot bushing.

I bought one from the 'zone before, made by motormite, it's the same as the stock Ford equipment, and it has needle bearings-no problems. I thought it was only like $11 though (?)...but like 86 said, make sure it's a BEARING, NOT A BUSHING.
