Honestly, I would do a complete "basic" tune on it. Plugs, wires, FF, filter check, oil change and filter, change the PCV and check for vacuum leaks on all lines.

Run it with 93 for awhile and if it continues, off to the shop for diagnosis.

Your motor is too green yet, to be going South.

I have done that Xcept fuel filter. The EGR and Fuel filter are on deck this weekend.

Got the EGR and fuel filter replaced replaced but now I can't test it cause its raining. Never pings during the rain.

switch to autolite copper plugs and put a catch can in between the pcv valve and plenum. Run only 91 octane or better

96-98 Cobra's have them

THE PING IS GONE!

Car runs so good, replaced the fuel filter and EGR valve. The passageway was very clean.

Are you sure that you are hearing pinging and not valve chatter or out right engine knock?

oopps never mind then.
