I am about to put an aluminum 1 piece drive shaft in my '07 gt. What should I set the pinion angle at? Or can I just leave the stock control arms on? Any help would be appreciated
If the car is lowered and the new shaft is 4'' in diameter, you might have a rub problem. Mine is lowered 3/4'' and I had a rub problem with the 4'' shaft. It was rubbing under the rear seat in the tunnel. I just beat a few dents in the tunnel to keep it from rubbing. The latest driveshafts fron JPC Racing are 3-1/2'' inches which avoids the problem all together. I believe the correct pinion angle is -3 degrees. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
