Well how many of you guys watch this show..i do and i like it lol i was curious how well you guys pay attention to stuff do any of you guys remember Nate he raced in the first season in a mustang and i think he ended up tieing or something well anyways they now use him as a team advisor or whatever they call it...he represents one team and theres a different guy they use for the other team....
i have noticed that which ever team nate gets put on looses lol if his team wins it must be very seldomly lol i find it funny...when ever i turn it there i always make bets with friends as soon as i see which team he represents lol

ya, i watch it when i have the time. it used to really piss me off when they would start the race and go right to commercials, but i think that has gotten better. I remember that race with Nate too, i think it was actually a rematch that ended in a tie again because of an accidental front tire slip when loading the converter. and ya, his team does lose alot, lol but i think thats because he is one of the only honest guys on there and doesnt want to see all the B.S. of everyone arguing about sandbagging and crap. good show though, at least for the winter when i cant drive the stang!

yep i agree his second race was against the camaro and he was loading and the other team was crying that he jumped the gun lol i think if they want to prevent sandbagging they already got 2 cameras in the cars put another one aimed at the pedal lol

They could kill the sandbagging part of the show easy.... Wire up a transmitter on the TPS sensor, or the Tach signal. I think they try to get more viewers based off the BS. Kinda pulling the Jerry Springer crap.

I think the negotiations are ghey. It's not really fair that a $15,000 car can lose to a $5,000 car just because the show gave the cheaper car 10 lengths. If you don't want to lose your car, then build it to win and just line them up; how hard is that?

...by eliminating the ghey negotiations.

they actually did that on an episode last week...in the negotiations they wanted to make sure that this guy in a malibu with a turbo 355 sbc stayed at 5lbs of boost with the 5lb spring in the wastegate, but no more than 7 lbs, and they datalogged each run and every time the tps was at WOT, and the boost was at 6.2 lbs...

the show gives them 10 lenghts?????????/ try the cocky driver that accepts the 10 lenghts anyone who looses on there is not because of the show in any way.. if the 15k car wants to give lenghts its his fault.

the website mentioned that they are trying to get evenly matched cars to race each other so maybe you wont see a full blown car vs a turd...but its all by word of mouth if the badass car claims its a 10 sec car and its really a 8 sec car he can peddle it and what not to try and fool them i love it when the more expensive teams loose because they are always cocky and dicks and i think its funny to see them get screwed over

Why don't they just offer a cash prize? As you guys have said, I've seen some hoopties go against some clean, well-done cars. If I had the clean car, I wouldnt even want the hooptie. A cash prize (in lieu of title slips) would even things out.

yeah but the shows not called cash lol:lol: pinks all out was cool i really enjoyed that a lot.

and like i mentioned they are trying to get cars the are evenly built and everything to make it fair to both guys and more exciting in the 1/4 so guys dont say well i need 20 lenghts lol

I know you watch the show. So you should know what happens when people refuse to negotiate. The bald guy tells them they're being unreasonable, and then tries to act like a badass by telling them if they don't negotiate, he'll hand the cars to the other guy.

Try looking at it from their point of view. If I put up a $900 '91 Nissan Stanza against your 'vert, and the bald guy and I were yelling at you to give me races where I may actually win and keep your car, you'd be pissed too and you'd probably act like a dick to show your frustration.

he always sides with whos got less wins....and i wouldn't take my vert there unless i was ready to hand over the keys...its the guys that got the bad ass cars that bag. they go out there keep it close so they only ask for so much lenght...there was one on re-run last week where the really nicely done car's negotiator kept saying keep it close dont beat him by much ....i wanted to see that guy get screwed big time.

you got to keep it in your head if you go there you might not bring your car back and with that in mind i wouldn't take more then im willing to loose, the meanest i have seen rich get to a driver is when he is screwing the guy with less wins like when one guys got 2 wins and the other guys got 0 but the guy with 2 wins keep saying im not gonna give him anything else...then rich says well im gonna give him what he wants this race. if he goofs at all hes gonna loose his ride, and he usually only does that if the winning racer so far is being rediculous like he beats the driver by 5 lenghts and offers him 1/2 car
