I was not going to say anything but since you raised the topic, what kind of results can be expected by doing the job in the dark with a flashlight for light? Was a heat gun used to soften the adhesive as is always recommended? I did not see any mention of a heat gun.
You are getting free advice and if you are going to do the job and you are not a professional mechanic then you need to do some planning before you start the work and have the correct tools available.
Not directed towards you I just used the work you performed as a counterpoint example to the point that was made in what I quoted.Dude Trout I hope everything you said was not directed at me seeing as I didn't even " raise the topic". If it was, then before you bash what I did and quote something that you thought was me, you should look at who said it. If you would have read, not only is the night the only time I have to work on my car but I did do the job properly and used a large spot light, not a flash light. I used a heat gun also. Sometimes **** happens.

Yes I did use the fishing line, with a heat gun. I did it about for about 2 inches in and then began just slowly pulling it with my hand. I searched alot on this topic. lol. I found the thread where the guy said fishing line and even posted in there. I did pull the one side slightly faster than the other but honestly even if i took like 2 hours on it I still think it would have taken the paint off. I did take my time. I duno maybe my door had been repainted before too. **** it was titled in Canada it could have submerged in water for all I know and wouldn't necessarily show up on the carfax.
