I’m rebuilding a 98 cobra motor with 2v PI heads and aftermarket intake. Stock crank with pistons and rods. I haven’t measured ptv clearance yet but forums I’ve read said that with stock pistons and rods and those 2v PI heads I’d run into clearance issues. Anything y’all would consider doing to increase that clearance other than flycutting or getting different pistons (already stupidly had the rotating assembly balanced)? Like thicker head gaskets or something?? I know I will have to check that clearance anyways, but I was just wanting to know ahead of time what anyone would do because I wont be able to mess with it for a few weeks, thanks!
