Before I ask, I will check the piston to valve clearance, but just want to see if any one has had clearance problems with a cam for a 351W. Cam specs are:
Intake Exhaust
Lift: 472" 496"
Dura @ .050 214 224
Lobe Center 107 117
That's what is on the cam card.
This is on a stock rebuild with 4 barrel intake, dual exhaust, app 9.2 compression ratio.

Any idea how the idle will be, wanting people to know it is at least not a stock cam. How is the power? Just checking more than anything.

No problems for me running an XE262H cam in my 351w with stock heads. It has 0.500 lift which is less than yours. Be sure to check preload after swapping in that cam. I had to use an adapter kit to make my non-adjustable valvetrain into adjustables. My preload was around 0.150" and the maximum is 0.060". I chose that route instead of ordering custom shorter pushrods.
