Well like I said I don't even want to bother selling stuff anymore. I guess I should just take the heads I have for sale and build another motor... then another car and the beat goes on....

Selling and buying stuff you just need to learn how to deal with people and IMHO as a seller you need to be honest and upfront from the get go. Being straight forward and up front with what you are selling will in the long run build your reputAtion as a seller. When the word gets out and people see your screen name or even phone number on the local Craigslist they won't hesitate to buy from you again and they will know you have good stuff for sale. From my personal experience it works and majority of the time you meet good people and they become either your friends or repeat customers because they know your not full of crap. Just saying it does work in the end don't give up.

Thought I would put in a picture of the Kenne Bell that I am building a box for to ship to the good guy that bought it. It is bolted to the bottom with carriage bolts so it won't move around in there. I am building a seperate partition for the accessories.

He paid for UPS but I spent $40 just to build a shipping container for it so it will arrive just as it did when it leaves my place. 30 minutes of work will make sure he gets it as advertised.

I've learned that it's better in the long run to buy without asking. Sleeping on the couch with no luvin for a few days is much better than missing out on a sweet deal.

When that line comes out and about you know there wasn't interested in the first place. I think it's one of the all time lamest way to put the wife in the middle. To me buy first pay the consequences later they only stay mad for a little while.

These guys are correct. What is the ***kin appeal to marry a woman that holds your balls in her purse and tells you how, what, where, when and exactly why you can or cannot spend your money? So many of my friends operate that way. There is a MAJOR difference between discussing things, and her controlling it. ***k that control BS, those women are rotten.

Well u cant argue with the wife thing. Ive used it a few times. But after driving 2 hours to check out a mustang that was supposibly a straight car, and looked like a banana I took a different approach. I had to add a few f***s and a**holes in there. And hop into my little volvo and speed off.

That set of Edelbrock Performer RPMs that I mentioned before.

I was going to box them up too...

I have bought things from Ebay and been really disappointed in how when you spend a grand or two for parts and they come all wrapped in cardboard and newspaper. Half the time valuable parts are nicked or bent or worse when you open the box. UPS can only replace value not the part you searched long and hard to find.

When it comes to the wife, there's only one rule I follow:

"It's eaiser to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission."

Excuse or not...why even bother asking your wife if you can buy something? If you want it, buy it. Just use your brain. If you have $1,000 to your name, you prolly shouldn't spend $1,000 on a used blower. But if you have $10,000 to your name, then there isn't much wrong with buying a $1,000 dollar used blower. Get it?
