Hello all, I've been reading here for a few months now and finally found a 91 LX last week and I'm in love with it, only problem is the engine is blown LoLz. Now what I wanna do is swap an Acura Legend engine into it so I can have VTECH power. I was wondering what parts I'll need.....anyone done this before? I already have the H22 motor and a vacuum and voltage guage hooked up in front of the windshield. I think this will be a screamer and will impress some corvette owners with import power Lolz. I really need to get this done ASAP because I am taking the bus right now to work and my mom thinks I need to stop doing that because of all the people that could hurt me...lolZ anywayz let me know what I need and someone needs to give me a walk through ASAP!!! I mean right away thanks all

oh and if anyone knows where to find Altezza taillights and a super tight body kit pleez hit me up LoLz!!!!

Did you fall down and hit your head sometime in the past? :jester: Shake it good once to make sure your brains aren't loose.

The stock 5.0 engine (225 HP, 300 ft/lbs torque) makes more power than the H22 (190 HP, 161 ft/lbs torq and has more potential for power.

If you love the 4 cylinder engines, consider swapping the H22 for a 87-88 Tbird turbo coupe engine. The 4 cylinder with a turbo can easily make lots more power than a VTEC H22 and is a bolt up with the right computer & wiring harness. Visit the Stangnet 4 cylinder forum for help in this area.

ahahahahahahahahaha. Im working on swapping a live horse into my mustang with the rising price of gas. It will be down on power though but I've been looking into steroids and they might be good for a 50% increase in power...I should put down about 1.5 horse at the hoof.

When you do this swap there are some very important things that must be done in conjunction to make highest power:

carbon fiber body parts left in black finish so everyone knows how much power you have

huge rear wing = +25hp

No Fear stickers everywhere = at least a 10hp gain

neon lights for the undercarriage = no hp gain but give you a "classy" look

and last but of utmost importance it the riciest sounding muffler you can find anywhere. MUST have at least a 5" diameter chrome tip.

These additions with your Acura engine should make your mustang the fastest one in your state and I don't know why no one has done this swap yet.

well, hell for that matter, afterburners in jet engines can increase thrust numbers by double! (referring to the GE F101-102), so by those calc's you could very well have over 400+ hp after all the stickers and the wing, and obnoxiously disgusting loud fart pipe!
