Hello all, I've been reading here for a few months now and finally found a 91 LX last week and I'm in love with it, only problem is the engine is blown LoLz. Now what I wanna do is swap an Acura Legend engine into it so I can have VTECH power. I was wondering what parts I'll need.....anyone done this before? I already have the H22 motor and a vacuum and voltage guage hooked up in front of the windshield. I think this will be a screamer and will impress some corvette owners with import power Lolz. I really need to get this done ASAP because I am taking the bus right now to work and my mom thinks I need to stop doing that because of all the people that could hurt me...lolZ anywayz let me know what I need and someone needs to give me a walk through ASAP!!! I mean right away thanks all

I am not sure how to convert a mustang to FWD. You would need different spindles, front coil overs, as well as a custom K-member. There should be room for a lot of other parts, such as a toro leaf blower. The car would weight about as much as most honda's that it came from, but I still have my money on Dean's horsedrawn mustang.

The idea of putting a Honda engine in a Mustang is retarded, not becasue of the pathetically low power output of the Honda 4 banger, but becasue the entire point of the Mustang's existence since 1964 has been the best performance possible for a low price. Their is nothing inexpensive abotu extracting big power out of a Honda. It can be done, but the cost is even more retarded that this thread and actually putting a Honda in a Mustang, combined.

Slightly off topic, but..... let me add to this that any "competition" where a judge decides the winner is fundimentally flawed as evidenced by the judging scandal that rocked the figure skating world in the last Winter Olympics.

Drifting is NOT a sport. It never will be. It is, at best, an exhibition. Calling it a sport is a dis-service to to truly talented sportmen (and sportswoman) who really do compete in real motorsports and race their cars in events where their is almost always a clear winner, determined by quanitative results, not judgements. ie shortest time, fastest speed, first across the finishline, etc...
