I guess I have come to the conclusion that there is really not a bolt in tranny that will replace our t-5 in the sn95 cars. But the closest thing is the older fox body trannies. But I have been doing alot of searching and have come across people saying different things. Some say that the fox t-5 will work with only minor mods. Others say that it will just bolt in. I just want the truth. I am looking at a heavy duty t-5 for my 95 but they only say that they will work in fox body cars. I want to know what am I going to run into as far as fitment issues. People are talking about moding the cross member and lengthening the drive shaft , I don't know I just want to find out the truth. thanks for all the help in advance.

the transmission is pretty much exactly the same the only difference being the imput shaft and bearing retainer.

the sn95 chasis is a bit longer then the fox and to make up for that ford used a longer bellhousing and imput shaft. a 94/95 trans crossmember will work just fine

no mods to the driveshaft unless you switch to a full fox bellhousing and stuff but even then some run a spacer and some dont so its a personal prefrence
