I failed emissions. No cats Anyone have some cats for long tube headers I can rent or borrow for a day.



This is my set up:
Stock motor
AC deleted
MAC cold Air kit
MAC LT Headers
MAC PRO Chamber O/R pipe
MagnaFlow Catback
Stock suspension
Kirban AFPR
FMS 3.55 gears

Here are the numbers from my emissions test.

HC (PPM)

Cruise Limit: 150

Cruise Emissions: 124

Idle Limit: 220

Idle Emissions: 341

I have a catted BBK X pipe for longtubes that me and my friends use just for emmions. I want it back though, but I want something for collateral because its expencive. I rent it out to my friends for 50 bucks. This fits in our fox bodys though, will it work in your 95?

i just passed last week with no cats the guy said the cruise limit for hydrocarbons was like 160 and i was at like 111 and the idle limit was like 220 and i was at 112.

I don't know if it will fit, but I have the stock mid-pipe from my 97 GT in the shed outside if it will fit you could borrow it..

Maybe it's time to consider moving to the sticks where there "ain't no 'missions testing!"

I know people who have bought vehicles from emissions testing cities and saved a pretty penny.

Can you get a post office box in a non-emissions county and then get tags for your car, or is the DOL hip to that now?

I have the same issue, needs testing and I can't find a smog pump.
