It sounds like you got a pretty good deal on the Bullit Intake setup. However, I can assure you this is not the case with everyone else, and most certainly is not the common scenario. I would also be very worried about using a used alternator. Have no idea how well the friggen thing is gonna hold up, but I guess you could always buy a new one for a decent price with exchange of your stock one as a core. As for no companies making an intake for the 2v, I've heard rumors that BBK is going to attempt to make one. Whether this is true or not, I don't know. Purple Racing has a lower aluminum manifold out, but no dyno or track results yet. HPS has been working on one for ages, but it seems like they're finally making progress. We'll just have to give it time and see what happens. As for the Fox Lake intake, unless if you're going with a supercharger, I see no point in buying it. At least not after the dyno comparison between the Dragon upper intake and the Fox Lake manifold done by AFM. The Fox Lake intake made less power all the way up till 4,500 rpms, and only after 5,000rpms did the Fox Lake manifold begin to make more power. So, unless if you're going to just have a track car, or a car that is going to see 7,500+rpms, I don't see where one can justify the spending on the Fox Lake intake over just a nice upper intake and throttle body combo.white99gt said:
