This may be hard to explain so please bare with me. Under the drivers side seat, there is a female port that exits the car and hangs by the floor board by my transmission(5 speed). Under the car the floor board recesses up to fit the transmission in it's place. - well it hangs in there coming from under the drivers seat and kind of by the tranmission mount). I have no idea where this could go, or what it is for. If someone could help me it would be real helpful.

a lot of times manufactures use one harness and if you don't have a specific accessory then they leave the plug hanging.
does everything work??
if you could give us more specifics like wire colors, number of wires, and a pic of the connector that would make it easier to identify
