Plugs/ valve cover gaskets

yea so i am deciding i am gonna pull the plugs and get some new ones in there, no idea when it was done last. Right now i don't know what plugs i have in there, casue the car isn't infront of me, but i got a 351 windsor so i was wondering if anyone new if any plugs were better then others for this engine, and also if anyone knows what are good valve cover gaskets that don't leak!!!!, please let me know.. many thanks

I use BRF-42s on my 302. Don't know what is called for on the 351. Could be the same. Neoprene valve cvoer gaskets work really well; they are reuseable, don't have to be scraped and don't leak is the cover is flat. To get 'em flat (PO's coulds overtightened 'em and the holes could be down) be sure to take a ball peen hammer to the holes in the covers and knock them back to where they are flad relative to the rest of the cover. I use a 2 x 4 to back the cover up, put the round end of the ball peen into the hole and tap it with another hammer to get 'em back flat.

Get felpros for a 93 5.0 mustang. I don't have the part #, but they are blue, have a steel core to hold them in place, and a spacer to keep you from crushing them. Wait, I don't think they work with steel valve covers. Oh well, what he said.
