Hey guys, i just recieved my new PMAS MAF meter, and it comes with a new 6-pin connector, but no instructions to install it. There is a makeshift wiring diagram, but it doesnt really tell me anything. To anyone who has installed one of these, could they help me out? It shows a power and a ground wire, but i have no idea why there would be one of those on this, the stock one doesnt have one does it? Thanks for any help you can give me!

After an exhausting search I believe to understand somewhat of what PMAS wants. Correct me if Im wrong but on an 88 gt they want pin #1 Yellow wire to splice into the Light green/Pink wire for the Air Charge Temp sensor signal and pin # 6 Pink wire to spilce into the Black/White wire for signal return. do I need to do anything else other than connect the remaining wires?? Im going to call PMAS tommorrow and double check. This was a little confusing because I wasnt told this was the way it would come. I thought it would be pretty cut and dry. Recieve meter, replace meter, and retune.

Wow, thats crazy, i did a search and didnt come up with anything! Let me know what you find out from PMAS tomorrow, in interested to read what they say. I know what you mean, it says 123456 on the paper, and letters on the meter?? Mine is for a procharger also, but its the blowthrough (protube) meter, is yours the drawthrough? I didnt know it was going to come like this either. Let me know what you find out! Thanks man!

more infromation

Ok, I called PMAS and left a message as I could not speak to a live person. No return call. I then e-mailed them my question and they got back to me quickly. The 6 pin connector that is supplied only uses 4 pins. Pins #1 and #6 are not used in 88-93 applications. I was a little surprised but what ever as long as it works. We shall see.
