The lenses on my tail lights were oxidized and it looked like there was a fine coat of bad clear on them... They were oxidized white and streaky... I was ready to do the nightshades paint to hide it then I decided to try my Meguires clear coat body scrub, in about an hour I had done both tails and the third and they look GREAT...

Sorry no pics but the camera didn't pick up the differenc between the right and the left (I should have did half of one lens then took the picture)...

JIC any of you are in this situation this is a relatively painless and cheap way to get the plastic on your car looking better, and so far it has not gotten chalky, etc (been 5 days)...

The Euro tails are rare, but your lights from Poland are super rare.

I also polished mine a bit (all they needed was some SSR 2.5 and VM, then some Klasse). They look a lot better. I've used the bodyscrub before on nasty cars and it works well but does take a bit of elbow grease.

Nice work.

I was REALLY on the fence about doing this but my car already stands out in traffic (loud exhaust, rollbar, loud music) and I drive fast... I don't really need any other reasons to get pulled over...

CT troopers can really bust ya though... This is where I got my tint ticket, only a few months after moving to CT... So since this worked good enough for now I'll take it...

Thanks for replying though I still think about tinting but not yet...
